Add Hitstats Visit Counter Widget To Blogger 2014

Stat counter or visit counter widget counts the number of page views and unique visits on your blog daily. Adding a visit counter widget to your blog will help you in monitoring the traffic statistics of your blog. Blogger has its own default stats counter widget but it is not very accurate in managing blog stats. In this post we will discuss about adding histats visit counter widget to blogger blogs. Histats counter is more accurate than blogger`d default counter. Another advantage of this widget is that it is available in many different designs which can be easily blended into your blog.

How To Histats counter to blogger

1. Go to Histats website.
2. At the bottom of the page fill your blog address and click on Register button.
3. Next page will open enter all your details and click on Register button again to create your new account on Histats.
4. A message saying Registration is completed appears.
5. Now go to your email inbox and confirm your registration by clicking the link sent by Histats website.
6. After confirming your registration, Login to histats account with new email and password.
7. In your Histats dashboard click on Add a Website option.
8. Fill your website details in the given form and click on Continue option.
9. After clicking on continue option your website will be added to your histats dashboard.
10. Click on your website name.
11. Next Screen will open
12. Click on Get counter CODE option.
13. Click on Add new counter.
14. Different designs of counters will be displayed on the screen
15. Select any design of the counter according to your choice.
16. Now configure your counter and click on Save button.
17. After clicking on Save button your counter will be created.
18. Click on your newly created counter.
19. Code for your counter will be displayed 
20. Copy the JavaScript code.
21. Now go to your blogger dashboard.
22. Select Your blog.
23. Select Layout option.
24. Select Add a gadget option.
25. Select HTML/JavaScript widget from the list.
26. In the HTML/JavaScript widget paste your  counter code and save the widget.
